Welcome to the DMV Driver Tests page. If you are going to a DMV hearing that involves your being a senior driver or having some medical impairment, assuming your license is returned to you, you will almost always have to take a written test, and many times a drive test.
DMV Driver Tests Tips:
- If you speak and read English, then take the test in English, even if it is not your first language. There have been problems with the writing in several foreign languages. According to experts, some questions in Vietnamese and Spanish versions of the test have questions that are ambiguous or capable of being interpreted in multiple ways.
- Study and Practice! Get and read the Driver Safety Handbook before you take the test. Read it, then take our on-line tests. If you fail the test, re-read the book and repeat!
